2015 CALIFORNIA LAW CLARIFIES EXCLUSIVE USE AREA RESPONSIBILITIES

AB 968 explicitly clarifies who must repair, replace and maintain exclusive use common areas when association governing documents are silent, so beginning January 1, 2015, unless the governing documents direct otherwise, owners maintain and associations repair and replace exclusive use common areas.
