Robert W. Browning, PCAM, RS, RSS
Owner
Robert has been providing reserve studies and association consulting services since 1988. He is the owner of the Browning Reserve Group, a reserve study preparation firm with offices in California and Nevada. Please see our history of the Browning Reserve Group.
He holds the Reserve Specialist (RS) designation and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). In addition, Robert has earned the Nevada Reserve Specialist Specialist (RSS) permit #5.
Robert is a two-time past President of the California North Chapter of CAI and currently, serves on the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) of CAI as a board liaison. In 2003 and 2004 he served as Chair of CLAC. He served on the national Board of Trustees of the Community Associations Institute in 2000 – 2006 and during 2007 – 2008 served as President of the Foundation for Community Association Research. The foundation is CAI’s, 501(c)3 organization and is the driving force for community association research, development, and scholarship. It is the only organization both recording the history of and identifying trends in, residential community association living. Robert’s present day activities include serving as co-chair of the Research Committee of the Foundation and also as a member of CAI’s national ethics committee.

Robert is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography.
The Browning Reserve Group is a California licensed general contractor. (Contractor’s License #768851.) The Browning Reserve Group does not provide construction services.
